HOMEBASED-HOW IT ALL STARTED?

I just would like to share with you the fact among the facts how I was able to establish a homebased career? I was like the rest of you who is such a hardworking and dedicated employee. I worked for 5 years as a Hospital Pharmacist. I felt that something must be done so life won't be boring for me. Yes, I was definitely doing the same routine for 5 years. I resign from the hospital and worked as a community Pharmacist, but then again the passion was not there. I still continue working as a community Pharmacist at the same I applied in a Medical transcription company who opened up a door for a new career. The training was rigid. Three months straight night shift training after which we are able to handle live files. That journey came to a halt when I decided to try my luck in Dubai, UAE where my boyfriend (now my husband) was working. To my surprise I got a job as a Medical transcriptionist in one of the Diagnostic center. Again, I ran out of luck for a jackpot. I came home to give birth and decided not to go back in UAE. A dear friend who was our supervisor and trainer in Medical transcription had touch base with me. She asked me if I want to work with her as a homebased transcriptionist for radiology accounts. Since I am a workaholic I did the job while caring for my child. I could remember that while I'm working my baby is beside me in a stroller. I even breastfeed my child while my other hand is typing. Just try to imagine that.

Again, an opportunity came to me to start my own Pharmacy. My husband came home to help out and to have a bond with our daughter. But it was just for a year. I had experience financial bankruptcy. As all our finances went under water and I gave birth to a premature baby boy (Mico) who was not able to make. It was a year full of sorrow, pain, anguish, but I did not blame God. I feel I was Job (Bible) who was rid off of all his possessions. The worst scenario is both of us must get off with feet right away for our daughter. Since I am the go getter I told him to care for our daughter and I will go look for work.

I right away applied for a job as a General transcriptionist without knowing that the HR manager was my classmate in high-school (USJR). It was a surprise for me. She hired me right away. The pay was good and its just on a morning shift. So, I don't need to worry about shifting schedules. But every time I go to work. It was so painful leaving my daughter who was not used to be left behind while her Dad was still a stranger to her. I had worked for only 3 months. Then another surprise from heaven. God was so good because he gave us two wonderful couples who decided to buy our Pharmacy business and at the same time hire me as there part time Pharmacist.

I never thought that in the midst of all the pain, desperation, depression, and endless cry. God was there and I believe that my son who is one of his cherubs might constantly whisper to him to help with our struggle. My homebased MT job was just there for us to be able to have food in the table but it wasn't enough. We still have a lot of bills to pay. Everyday I search all over the net to whatever possibilities I can have to augment our financial needs. A friend told me that he was paid in dollars by a client in US nnthrough online.

I search and search and then I came up with oDesk. I made my profile on September 2009 and I got my first assignment October 2009. From there I was able to know about Quicktate and so many other online job site like oDesk. The good thing is they hire transcriptionist/transcribers, content writer, SEO writer, date entry, customer support, and admin jobs that I am confident that I can handle pretty well. I get assignment one from the other. Little by little our financial worries are being taken cared of. I have may MT trans, my freelancer accounts online, and being a part time Pharmacist. How I was able to do this? Well, my husband made it possible. He took control of everything around the house and I am so happy that he is not a stranger to our daughter anymore. Since, my work is in US time. My daughter sleeps beside his father with so much love. Seeing them makes me want to pursue what I am doing right now. As for my husband, he just put his fatherly responsibilities at hand. I still support him whatever is his plans. If he still want us to migrate with him, why not? I can bring my work around the world as long as there is an internet connection and a computer. Life will go on.

If you want to work for oDesk/Quicktate/Elance/Blogvertise. Kindly give me your email address and I will refer you. Let's help one another so multifolds of blessings comes our way. As you are reading this I am being paid through your visit. There's so many things you can do online and get paid. As long as you know how to start?, sell yourself, and be not selfish of what you have.
